Banana-chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting

This cake has a little bit of everything. If you are a sweet/savory kind of person, like me, this cake is heaven.

3cups of all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons baking soda
2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup light brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups mashed bananas
1 cup sour cream
mini chocolate chips (put in as much as you'd like)

2 cups of creamy peanut butter
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup unsalted butter
2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
chocolate chips, mini chocolate chips or chocolate flakes for decoration

Equipment: I baked the dough in a cake pan size 26 cm.

Let's start:
Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius. Line bottom of the cake pan with baking paper. Whisk flour, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl. Using electric mixer, beat sugar, butter and brown sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating to blend between additions and occasionally scraping down the sides and the bottom of the bowl. Also add vanilla. Add dry ingredients, beat on low speed just to blend. Add bananas and sour cream, beat just to blend.Fold in mini chips. Bake cake for about 35 minutes and then let it cool down. When it is cooled down you cut it in two size alike round pieces. Prepare frosting using an electric mixer, beat first 4 ingredients until fluffy than add vanilla. Place one cake on a platter and spread 1 1/4 cups frosting over. Place remaining cake on top. Cover top and sides of cake with remaining frosting. Garnish with chocolate chips and kisses.

Un buon appetito!
