Marzipan cake

- 11 dag butter
- 3 eggs
- 8 dag powdered sugar
- 2 dag granulated sugar
- 10 dag bitter chocolate
- 13 dag chopped almonds
- 1 tablespoon of coffee
- 7 dag all purpose flour
- 8 dag almond sticks
- 10 dag marzipan
- glass of maraschino liquor
- 5 dag powdered sugar
- 10 dag apricot jam
- powdered sugar for decoration

 Mix butter with three egg yolks, then add powdered sugar. Meanwhile melt the chocolate  and mix it with the almonds and coffee, then all together mix it with the egg yolks mixture. Three reamined egg  whites are to mix till they are hardened, then we add 2 dag granulated sugar. Mix the whites into the chocolate mixture then add flour and gently whisk it together. Put the whole mixture into a cake pan and on top sprinkle it with almond sticks. Bake the cake for 50 minutes in preheated oven on 180 degrees Celsius. When the cake is done we cool it for a bit. Meanwhile mix marzipan mass and maraschino with 5 dag of powdered sugar. Cut the cake into two similar circles. On top of the lower circle you place the marzipan mixture all over the circle. Over the marzipan mixture add the apricot jam, also try to cover it evenly. Cover with the top circle, before you serve the cake just put on the top some powdered sugar for decoration.
