Spring feeling - affordable beauty

New addition to my nail polish collection is an Ultimate Nail Lacquer in the shade 57 Karl Says Tres Chic. As a true Essie fan, I wanted to branch out a little and try something cheaper and similar in applying. Catrice cosmetics had the shade that I liked, so that is what I went for. For those like myself, who lack patience to wait for the colour to dry, this is a life saver. The end finish is high in shine and the colour is perfect for spring. When it comes to durability, it is said that it lasts 8 days. I wouldn´t say that mine lasted that long. I usually use my hands a lot during the day doing crafts or other things, so my nail polish never stays on as described. As a top coat I tried the Ultra stay & Gel shine top coat. As I´ve said the high shine is definitely achieved but the ultra stay for me isn´t 8 days. This nail polish is perfect, if you don´t like spending much for beauty products. At the moment I´m looking for cheap dupes of products and trying to save some money.
Do you have any good drugstore recommendations?

Raw Strawberry Cake

I've recently started eating a little bit "healthier" (it's not really going as good as it sounds), so I decided to try out a raw cake recipe. I was looking through a lot of blogs to find a good one, but at the end I really liked the recipe and the photography of a slovenian blog called Teresamisu. The Author is Tereza Poljanič, she basically lives a very healthy lifestyle, and with deliscious recipes and photography, she tries to inspire readers to eat better. She is showing us, how healthy food can also be deliscious.

The recipe that I made is a Raw Strawberry Cake, check it out! The taste is not the same as sugary-white-flour cake would taste like, but it actually tastes good. It is a nice way to gradually erase sugar and all the bad stuff out of your life.

Have a nice day!

Healthy snack - Beauty Sweeties

I had a chance to try-out the fruity Beauty Sweeties candies. More specifically the ones in Mango-Peach, Acai-Fruits of the forest, and Pomegranate-Raspberry flavours. I'm not really a fan of any kind of candy, beacuse they are usually made artificially. The taste, the smell, and the apperance isn't very appealing. So, i was really excited to try something new and something not as fake!
The Beauty sweeties candies:
Jello hearts -  made with 20% of condenses fruit juice, 6% of fruit pieces, they contain Q10 and collagen on a yoghurt cream base
Cream pralines - made with white chocolate, fruity pieces and fruity yoghurt, they also contain Q10 and collagen, but also aloe vera

I was really surprised that the taste wasn't so artificial and that they didn't taste so sugary, as all of the other candy, that I usually eat. They didn't give me the instant sugar boost of energy and I didn't feel sick after eating them. Beacuse of mostly natrual ingredients they didn't feel like normal sweets but actually like a healthier snack.

The sun is up, the sky is blue!

Cardigan: Topshop
Shirt: Zara

Boots: H&M

Long time no see! I haven't been in the right mood to blog or do anything for a couple of weeks now. I have these periods of time, when I feel so uninspired and useless. I'm feeling better now and hopefully my mood will stay this way true spring. The weather is so nice and sunny, but enough about me talking about weather.

Happy women's day to all of my female readers. Hope you've had a great day!
